Hardtail work in progress

Wczoraj do poznego wieczora trwala walka z przerobieniem tylnego zawieszenia na hardtail. Plan byl by przerobic to tak zeby wygladaly jak zwykle amorki ale byly sztywne. W tym celu z pomoca naszego przyjaciela z Unemployed Bike Co. Rudego zaczelismy od rozbiorki amorkow. Najpierw wyciecie kawalka sprezyny i demontaz gornego mocowania. Nastepnie na tokarce odcielismy spod cylindra i wywleklismy tlok i wszystkie bebechy. Kolejnym etapem bylo roztoczenie gornej pokrywy cylindra. Akcje trzeba bylo wykonac dla obu amorkow. Po zakonczeniu prac przy cylindrach do roboty poszly tuleje ktore mialy byc wspawane w spod cylindrow. Kilka chwil pozniej byly gotowe. Ostatnim zadaniem bylo przyciecie walkow na wymiar i podtoczenie ich pod gwint. Sprawa prosta wiec poszlo sprawnie. Teraz musimy tylko nagwintowac walki, zeby moc nakrecic na nie mocowania amora. Wszystko trzeba zespawac do kupy i mozna wstawiac moto na robienie zadupka.

Yesterday till late evening hours we were fighting with makeover of rear suspension ito hardtail. The plan was to make it look like regular suspension but hard. With a help of our friend Rudy from Unemployed Bike Co. we started disasembling suspension. First we removed small part of spring and unscrewed top part of  damper. Next we cut off bottom of cylinder and took off piston and everything else that was inside. Then we drilled out top part of cylinder. Those steps were repeated for second dumper. Once done we movd on to fabricating sleeves that will go to the bottom part of dumper's cylinder. It went smooth. The last thing we did yesterday was preparation of shaft so we could make a thread. All we need to do now is to weld everything togather and CB can go to Rodents for backside creation.
