Month ago I finally sold my FZ6 and I was in need to get a reliable, modern bike for everyday ride and some trips. I planned to buy MT-03 or something similar.
After some unsuccessful searching and little talks with Artur from Interceptor Funky Garage and Wiz, they convinced me to invest $ from FZ6 in solid rebuild good old SR500 engine to work as a new one (or maybe even better :P). It was no sooner said than done and today I get my ass to work (thanx Artur for motivating me). Engine was taken out from the frame and spread to pieces.
Next step is to clean everything and order necessary seals, bearings, new piston and maybe brand new Mikuni carb with all essential parts like inteake, air filter jets etc.
